2016 - CHANGE
Hey Creatives - Happy New Year!!
*sidebar, I LOATHE when people say "Happy New Years!" -- what is that?? lol*
It's a new year and everyone and their mother have set resolutions and for the most part, we don't stick to it :/. However, one thing that we should all strive for is change. Change seems to be the norm, while stability is out. Change leads to innovation, adaptation and stronger human connections. Personally, I am all about change. I don't believe in stagnancy, if things aren't going well -- time for change. Everyone struggles with change, it definitely doesn't come easy; but that doesn't meant one should sulk and be stagnant. I have come up with a few keys *Dj Khaled pun* to promote change and I hope they will help y'all out.

- Create a vision and if need be, share it.
- Promote new initiatives and ideas to improve individual organization and relationships with others.
- Communicate reasons for decisions you make.
- Identify roadblocks that have unexpectedly occurred and remove them.
- Establish measures of self-performance.
- Celebrate measurable improvements.
- Communicate openly and freely.
- Allow time for adjustment and empathy towards others.
- Provide assistance for those who need it.
- Keep an eye out for people who are roadblocks.
- BE HAPPY!!
I hope these few keys are helpful and will infuse change into your lives. Remember, it's okay to fall, but ALWAYS get up, shake yourself off, keep your head up and continue on your journey.
