STYLE | Prettiest Layering Piece

Happy Spring! Yay!
When it comes to street style, I consider myself a super sleuth. Scouring blogs and Instagram (of course!) to find the latest trends and what designers have been "experimenting" with (I use that loosely, because... nvm I'm walking down Shadeville). One trend that's been expertly displayed is TULLE. The flyest of fly girls are adding this to their closets for Spring and Summer. Tulle is of-the-moment, it's a cool layering piece for the Spring and a great cover-up for Summer. It's lightweight, sheer and an outfit enhancer. It adds a feminine and ethereal flair.

Some may argue it takes confidence and quirk to pull it off. It's not piece that requires any of the above. One of the great things about tulle is that it works for all shapes and sizes. Another great thing is how well it works as different articles of clothing like tops, skirts, dress and even socks. Yes, that's a thing! I'm currently loving tulle juxtaposed with something a bit edge like seen above; over a pair of denim and a tee or even underneath a sweatshirt

UPDATE - 5/7/2018
For this ensemble, I layered a Forever 21(similar) tulle top over a grey Zara dress. It gave the look a feminine flair fit for any event. Think Beyonce in Zimmermann less structure.
